Washington, DC
Outreach and Community Planning

EL Studio, in collaboration with the D.C. Office of Planning (DCOP) and the Congress Heights Community Training and Development Corporation (CHCTDC), designed a socially distanced public design charrette on D.C.’s Alleys in Congress Heights.
The charrette, spread out in stations throughout an alley, both presented EL Studio's research on local urban conditions, while transforming the ground into a canvas for community feedback. 6' socially distanced vertices webbed together to create individual pods for visitors to further the conversation on urban public space.
I was responsible for schematic and logistical design of the charrette in correspondence with DCOP and CHCTDC, as well as graphic design of alley banners.
