About Me

I'm Andrew D'Angelo, a B.Arch Thesis candidate at Syracuse University. Having had a passion for engineering since I was young, my growing appreciation for drawing and painting led me to explore a career in architecture where both aesthetic and technological sensibilities must work in synergy to produce space that is both culturally and functionally engaged.

Today, issues of inequality, sustainability, and availability are at the forefront of the architectural practice, and we will need to approach them with a technical and pragmatic rigor, but in doing so, ideals celebrating beauty and humanity cannot be lost.

Throughout my career, I aspire to channel these disparate passions and sensibilities in order to create spaces that are beautiful and useful to their clients, greater communities and generations to come.
